Job description

Your role as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer within this Part-145 organization, you are responsible for performing line maintenance tasks on our Boeing 737-800 and 737-8/9 aircraft. You work in accordance with applicable regulations and ensure that the aircraft are safe and ready for departure.

Your responsibilities:

  • Performing line maintenance activities in compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations

  • Ordering and managing aircraft parts

  • Ensuring accurate administration in the maintenance system

  • Coaching and guiding mechanics and trainees

Base location

You will primarily be based at Schiphol, but occasionally you will travel to our outstations (such as Curaçao, Thailand, and various European destinations). This offers a unique opportunity to gain international experience as an aircraft maintenance engineer.

Your working environment

You will be part of a dedicated and friendly team of approximately 16 colleagues. Together, you work on the platform at Schiphol, with safety and quality as top priorities. Thanks to a well-structured roster with a limited number of night shifts, you will always know where you stand.

Your roster

At this airline, you work in a fixed and structured schedule, consisting of:

  • 2 day shifts (D): 07:00 – 16:30

  • 2 evening shifts (A): 15:00 – 00:30

  • 2 night shifts (N): 22:00 – 07:30

  • 4 days off, with the first day being a rest/recovery day

This way, you always know well in advance when you are working and when you are off.

Requirements

What we expect from you

  • You hold a valid EASA Part-66 B1 license with a type rating (B2 is considered an advantage).

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, preferably in line maintenance.

  • You have a good command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.

  • You are flexible, stress-resistant, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • You have a results-driven and quality-focused mindset.

  • You are willing to work irregular shifts.

  • You hold a valid driver’s license (B/BE).
